The Audience.
By Hijinx (Wales). They’re coming. Chairs in hand. A crowd gathers. They move as one, then not at all. Chairs snap open. Pathways collide. The impossible starts to take shape. What begins as something familiar becomes something stranger, more playful, more dangerous. Who are they watching? And when does an audience stop observing and start becoming part of the show? From Hijinx, The Audience is a bold, slapstick exploration of togetherness, disruption, and the delicate balance between control and collapse, building towards a breathtaking final image that shouldn’t stand…but somehow does.
Coblyn.
By Hijinx, Theatr Iolo and Kitsch & Sync Collective (all Wales). Coblyn is a family-friendly celebration of Welsh folklore, bursting with music, songs and folk dance. Down at the bottom of the garden, between the toadstools and the wonky pond, live an unruly gang of magical gnomes!
Crabulous!.
By Hijinx. Think you know crabs? Think again. These glitter-drenched darlings have risen from the seabed to strut, sparkle and serve. Welcome to CRABULOUS!, Hijinx's new Crabaret Ex-Crabaganza. Expect outrageous costumes, fierce competition, and a joyous celebration of being unapologetically too much.
Imaginary Lines.
By Humans Move (Wales). What if your only limitation was your imagination? Imaginary lines keep us in boxes. They categorise us, define us, and tell us who we are and where we can go. In this striking outdoor performance, Adi and Justin reimagine those boundaries, transforming public space into a place of possibility. Through movement and connection, they invite us to question the lines we follow and to imagine how we might move forward together, freely and on our own terms.
Kitty O'Neil.
By Taking Flight (Wales). Who was Kitty O’Neill? On this hilarious journey you will discover she was the first Deaf American stuntwoman! A record breaking badass that defied the world that tried to define her, thrill seeking, death defying and the fastest Woman on Earth! Discover the first Deaf superhero who was behind Wonder Woman’s greatest feats. In true Taking Flight style this spoof docudrama has a spattering of audience interaction and is told in BSL, English and good old slapstick.
R. Sieht Rot.
By tanzbar_bremen (Germany). Two people. Two suitcases. Two lives. Setting off on a journey when they meet, these two characters dance in a whirlwind of curiosity and joie de vivre; they challenge traditional gender roles, and continually rediscover their relationship with one another.
Twitch, Glitch and Flap.
By Taking Flight (Wales). Our twitchers (or more formally known as birdwatchers) are on the hunt for the mysterious and rare Magnificus Plumitete. But they’re absolutely hopeless! Twitch follows the rules, Glitch follows the tech – and Flap, just flaps about and has no idea what’s going on. Can you help them find the bird they seek? Come and help the twitchers in their quest to find the Magnificus Plumitete. With gentle audience interaction and stunning puppetry.
