My name is Twyla Joyce, and I’m a Cardiff based illustrator and maker. I work under the name Phoenix Artwork and I primarily work digitally when illustrating due to having fibromyalgia, as it helps with my illness. I also create resin and polymer clay pieces. Once I finish university I would like to become a comic book designer as I want to use them to promote animal rights as well as raise awareness for mental health. As these are issues very close to me, I want to break the stigma of mental health and people not talking about it. Then with animal rights I want debunk myths and educate people. Â
