An autistic man and a woman with a troubled past defy their parents and the law by stealing a van and taking a magical mystery tour through Wales to find a place where they can be free. Surprising, gritty, funny, grounded but blurring the lines between fiction and documentary, Two Worlds will be a highly cinematic, utterly distinctive film. Based on Hijinx’s enormously successful approach to creating theatre, Two Worlds will also show that an authentically inclusive approach, with the actors’ voices at the heart of the process, is equally valid – and equally exciting – in film.
