Telemachus

Are you interested in theatre, having fun and meeting new people? Do you want to explore new skills and push your own boundaries?

Telemachus is aimed at 16 to 24 year olds and is an inclusive group for young people with and without learning disabilities who are adventurous, and love to create and perform.

Sessions run on Wednesdays 6.00 – 8.00pm in Cardiff City Centre, in line with the academic calendar. Cost: £40 a term.

Each year, our South young people’s theatre group, Telemachus, devise and perform a pre-show to accompany the annual Odyssey winter show. The live performances take place in the Glanfa stage, Wales Millennium Centre.

In 2023, Telemachus teleported audiences back in time. Build around Humbug!, Odyssey’s re-imagining of the classic A Christmas Carol, Telemachus reminisce and reflect on a bittersweet memory in Tiny Tim’s school life.

Centred around creating their own characters, backgrounds, and interests, the group collaborated with Chris Lloyd to capture their work on film.
