This sonic story is a guide to the auditory experience of Meet Fred, highlighting when to expect the loud noises, sounds and music in the performance.

Easy Read Programme
Access Area.
At performances of Meet Fred, you will find our Access Area. This area has a host of resources to help you get a better sense of the show.
The resources are:
▪️ An Easy Read guide to Meet Fred
▪️ The Sonic Story – when to expect loud or sudden noises
▪️ A pair of headphones to listen to the actors describe their appearance and what they wear in the show
▪️ A version of the puppet, Fred, to pick up and feel
▪️ A tactile version of the backdrop of the set – a mind map of words about Fred’s life
These resources are on a flight case which is just like the ones used in the show.
