I am currently in my third and final year studying art and design at Coleg Menai in Bangor. My key interest is in the actual process of image making and to find ways of expressing this through production and installation. The subject of my enquiry is ‘the relationship we have to things’, and in particular – the relationship I have to cars. It all ties to my childhood and the significance I place on memories. I have always associated experience with objects and often imagine those objects to somehow embody the essence of particular formative events. The journey of making art enables me to reflect on the proximity of experience and the latent transmission of memory that certain things enable.
