Unity Festival 2026.
Unity Festival 2026 was the 12th edition of the festival. We presented a unique and vibrant lineup of high-quality theatre, dance, circus, drag and music from across the UK and Europe, with events in Mold (27 June) and Cardiff (1 – 5 July). Unfortunately, the Llanelli satellite event had to be cancelled in 2026, due to the extreme heat.

Free Performances.
At the 2026 festival in Cardiff we had a fantastic programme of free performances from ADM-VZW, tanzbar_bremen, Blaumeier-Atelier, Stopgap, Humans Move, Taking Flight, Monmouthshire Connected Dance Company, Satélite Teatro, Anjali Dance Company and com.dance, Compagnie de l'Oiseau-Mouche, Danza Mobile, Theatr Iolo and Kitsch & Sync Collective.
Ticketed Performances.
We also had a great programme of ticketed evening events: the Unity Festival's Grand Opening, a night of cabaret hosted by Midgitte Bardot with performances from Danza Mobile, Hijinx and House of Deviant, Baby Bumps by Theater Thikwa and hannsjana, a Work in Progress sharing by House of Deviant and Vaguely Artistic, The Day the Man Stepped on the Moon by Danza Mobile, Down by Collettivo Clochart and the Unity Festival party featuring music from the House of Deviant and Fransen.
Satellite Programmes.
This year, our scheduled day of performances at Ffwrnes, Llanelli, had to unfortunately be cancelled due to the extreme heat and unworkable conditions. We were able to go ahead with our satellite programme in Mold at Theatr Clwyd, a new venue for the festival, and presented a programme of free street theatre events.
