Due to the extreme heat, and in line with Public Health and union guidance, Hijinx and Carmarthenshire Theatres have made the difficult decision to cancel this Thursday’s Unity Festival programme in Llanelli (25 June), to safeguard the performers, the festival team and audiences.
We are disappointed that this decision was necessary, but the safety of everyone involved is our priority. The festival was due to run for 7 hours from 12.30pm - 7.30pm, which covers the hottest hours of the day, and therefore could’ve put the performers and audience at risk.
We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and appreciate your understanding.
You can still catch Unity Festival in Mold on 27 June and in Cardiff from 1 – 5 July. We hope to see you there!
