Set in the historical big freeze of 1962/3...
The Abominable Snowman combines the adventure and heart of Raymond Brigg’s The Snowman with the humour and anarchy of award-winning music theatre makers Gagglebabble.
Starting in the once renowned Tiger Bay venue The Quebec, young Sid and Gef – his talking mongoose companion – travel as far north as they can go in an attempt to thaw the heart of the Abominable Snowman and end the Endless Winter.
On their journey Sid and Gef will meet an array of different cryptids and be hampered by the comedic (yet incompetent) ‘Abominable Snowman’s Snowflake Army’ in the process…
With puppetry, original music and your very own Cryptid Trail to complete in the Wales Millennium Centre before the show, The Abominable Snowman is sure to be a cool antidote to 2026’s hot summer.
