El festín de los Cuerpos

Danza Mobile

Hijinx Unity Festival & Danza Mobile present...

“Love is a desire for beauty – a value that transcends the particularities of the physical body.” Plato, The Symposium.

A sumptuous banquet is held, where the topic for discussion is love. Love is born into every human being, but what is love, the purpose of love, and who does, or doesn’t get to love? Inspired by Plato, The Symposium and his ideas of human beings and our natural tendencies, Danza Mobile’s dance piece is a playful look of what makes us, us.

Danza Mobile is one of Europe’s most successful inclusive dance companies, they will be making their sixth visit as part of Hijinx’s Unity Festival. Their performances have always gone down a storm with our audiences and we are convinced that El Festin de los Cuerpos will be no different.
